Edebiyat ve psikoloji ilişkisi bağlamında ortaya konulan bir çalışma türü olan arketipsel eleştiri metodu, edebî eserlerdeki ruhsal benlik yapılarını inceler. Bu ruhsal benlik yapılarından biri de yolculuk/aşama arketipidir. Bu arketipte kahraman birtakım sınavlardan geçip bireysel olgunluğa ulaşır. Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’nin Küçük Prens isimli eserinde kahraman, ruhsal bir yolculuk yaşar. Küçük Prens, kahramanın benlik yapılarından birini temsil eder, yani kahraman ve Küçük Prens aynı kişidir. Eserde, Küçük Prens karakteri üzerinden yolculuk/aşama arketipi anlatılmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, Antoine de Saint-Exupery’nin Küçük Prens isimli öyküsündeki yolculuk/aşama arketipi ele alınmıştır.

Archetypal criticism, a type of a methodology to study the relationship between literature and psychology, examines the character of spiritual selves in literary works. One of these character archetypes is the journey/the task archetype. In this archetype, the hero, individually passes through several challenges and reaches maturity. In Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's manuscript “Little Prince”, the hero experiences a spiritual journey. The Little Prince represents one of the heroes' self-organization, that is, the hero and Little Prince are the same person. Through the character “Little Prince”, journey/stage archetype is described. In this work, the journey / stage archetype of Antoine de Saint-Exupery in the name of Little Prince is discussed.
