Özet Türkçe eğitiminin genel hedefleri anlamında okul dışı öğrenmelerden önemli bir boyutu meydana getiren unsur da şarkılardır. Şarkılar içerisinde adından anlaşılacağı üzere kitlelere en çok ulaşan, popüler kültür şarkıları yani pop şarkılardır. Bu çalışmada amacımız, Türkçe eğitiminin hedefleri bağlamında Türkçe pop şarkıların içerik analizini gerçekleştirmektir. Türkçe eğitiminin genel hedefleri, Türkçe temel dil becerilerinin kazandırılması, öğrencilerin dil estetiğini kavramaları, zihinsel becerileri geliştirmeleri dolayısıyla eleştirel ve analitik düşünmeleridir. Ayrıca değer eğitimi de Türkçe eğitiminin genel hedefleri içerisinde görülmektedir. Çalışmamız nitel ve nicel verilerin kullanıldığı nitel bir araştırmadır. Araştırma olgubilim desenine uygun olarak geliştirilmiştir. Araştırmaya konu evreni temsil etmek üzere örneklem belirlenmiştir. Buna göre pop şarkıları 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015 yılları ile sınırlandırılmıştır. Şarkılar o yıl en çok dinlenen ve indirilen şarkılardan tercih edilmiştir. Şarkıların dağılımında ağırlık günümüze yakın tarihlerdedir. Veriler doküman incelemesi tekniği ile toplanmış, içerik analizi ilkelerine göre analiz edilmiştir. Kodlama işlemi sonucunda ortaya çıkan veriler, bulgular halinde sunulmuş ve yorumlanmıştır. Bulgulara göre pop şarkılarında kalıplaşmış söz kullanımı, sözcük dağarcığını zenginleştirme bakımından yetersizdir. Yabancı dil unsurlarına sıklıkla yer verilmektedir. Şarkılarda küfür, hakaret ve argo kullanımları hoş görülemeyecek düzeydedir. Madde bağımlılığı ve suça teşvik edici ifadeler özellikle rap/hiphop sıkça yer bulmaktadır. Değerler eğitimi açısından şarkı içerikleri çoğunlukla olumsuz değerlendirilebilir. The songs that reach the masses the most, the songs are pop songs. Already pop song means popular song. The aim of this study is to analyze the content of Turkish pop songs in the context of the objectives of Turkish education. General objectives of Turkish education; The aim of this course is to provide the students with the basic language skills of Turkish, the concepts of language aesthetics, critical thinking and analytical thinking. In addition, value education is seen among the general objectives of Turkish education. Our study is a qualitative research using qualitative and quantitative data. The research was developed in accordance with the phenomenology pattern. The sample was determined to represent the universe of the study. Accordingly, pop songs were limited to 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015. Songs were the most listened and downloaded songs that year. In the distribution of songs, attention was paid to the more recent ones. The data were collected by document analysis technique and analyzed according to content analysis principles. The data obtained as a result of the coding process were presented and interpreted as findings. According to the findings; the use of stereotypes in pop songs is insufficient for the purpose of enriching vocabulary. Foreign language elements are frequently mentioned. The use of profanity, insults and slang in songs is intolerable. Drug addiction and crime-promoting expressions are frequently found in rap / hiphop. In terms of values education, song contents can often be negatively evaluated. Keywords: Turkish education, popular songs, content analysis
