Family members are the first source of older care. Family caregivers are aging similarly as the population ages so that older carers are taking the caregiver role more often in family care. This research aims to reveal the care experience of older carers using the life course approach. A qualitative research design has been used whereby in-depth interviews have been carried out with 24 carers, caring for their older family member. The biographic life course and the caregiving experience were evaluated concordantly and care trajectories from the start of care until beyond the caring process have been emerged. Older carers were found to care for their parents and partner. They were found to experience multiple care steps either sequential or single. This research could be a resource for other research and could make older carers visible in social politics being the first research about older carers in Turkey.
