Archiving and Data Distribution Policy

  • Zeitschrift for die The publisher of Welt der Türken / Journal of World of Turks [ ZfWT ] [ISSN: 1868-8994 (online) ISSN: 1869-2338] is pleased to announce its archive policy in accordance with its policy of supporting the dissemination of research results.
  • ZfWT sends the articles it publishes to electronic archives and makes them available for full access, on an open access basis, without the need for any action by the author( s ) .ZFWT sends the articles published to electronic archives on an open access basis without any action by the author(s) and makes them fully accessible. The author or funding organization may upload a copy of the author's accepted manuscript to archival sites.
  • The ZfWT author license permits reuse with attribution to the source of the article (with full citation) for non-commercial use only. Our policy stating that permission is required for commercial use applies.
  • The publisher ensures that published material is securely archived. ZfWT is committed to keeping all its articles open access under the CC-BY-NC Creative Commons license and storing full-text content on its archive platforms and on its website.

Repository Policy: Publisher's Own Site

  • Articles published in ZfWT are digitally archived at LOCKSS . In addition, published articles can be made accessible by the author in the institutional archives of the university where he/she works ( DSpace , AVESIS, etc.), subject archives or any other archive without an embargo period. Thus, everyone can access this publication immediately, free of charge.
  • ZfWT allows authors to use the final published version of an article for self-archiving (author's personal website, social media accounts) and/or archiving in an institutional repository after publication ( DSpace , AVESIS, etc.).
  • Authors may self-archive their articles in public and/or commercial subject-based archives. There is no embargo period, but the published source must be cited and a link must be set to the journal home page or DOI of the articles.
  • Authors and readers can download PDF files of the articles.
  • ZfWT journal allows all versions of articles (Submitted version, accepted version, published version) to be deposited without embargo in an institutional or other repository of the author's choice.
  • ZfWT magazine uses the LOCKSS system to allow the creation of permanent archives. Based at Stanford University Libraries, the LOCKSS program provides libraries and publishers with award-winning, low-cost, open-source digital preservation tools to provide access to permanent and authoritative digital content. The LOCKSS program is a library-led digital preservation system built on the principle of “ensuring the security of large numbers of copies.” The LOCKSS program develops and supports libraries using open source end-to-end digital preservation software.

  • Digital Object Identifier (DOI) is a unique access number that allows identification and access of works published electronically. It is mandatory to provide a DOI number for every study published in ZfWT .
  • DOI number can also be given to studies in early appearance.
  • After the acceptance stage, DOI numbers are given by the editorial board to the studies for which plagiarism control, bibliography control and print versions are prepared.
